Children's Literature Curation

As a writer, scholar, and researcher of children’s literature, I’m exposed to LOTS of amazing children’s books every day.  Further, I believe that there is a book for EVERY child’s interests, needs, and developmental stage.  But with so many options (and with parents, caregivers, and educators often pressed for time) how do you find high-quality children’s literature that will engage and educate without spending days at the library or hours scouring the Internet?
