Writing

I started writing stories for young children in 2007.  I write poetry and short stories for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students.  Pieces that inspire physical movement and interaction between children and families are my favorite to write.  I am a member of SCBWI and have studied writing technique with accomplished children's authors Susan Campbell Bartoletti and Susan Ludwig.  My publishing credits include numerous pieces in Highlights: Hello, Highlights: High Five, BABYBUG, and Friend Magazine.  I also have several picture book manuscripts in process.
